Report writing of “Warm Clothes Distribution Campaign” 18 Jan 2019
KERE KIDS NEPAL has recently distribution warm clothes (sweaters &caps) to fifty children in Nilgiri Basic School and Dhaulagiri Basic School, Myagdi.
By last month, KERE KIDS NEPAL has launched “Warm Clothes Distribution” campaign for fifty students. In the winter season, temperature of Annapurna region is dramatically going down up to 3 degree at day time and -5 degree at night. Because of this desaster cold, students are influnced by various diseases. So, we have started campaign to keep children warm in schools. Our main goals were providing qualitative sweater and cap. On 18th, Janaury-2019 KERE KIDS NEPAL has completed its campaign.
After the survey in schools about the well-being of health, there were lots of problems which caused numerical health diseases like common cold, headache, and pneumonia. Because of this diseases, students were absent in school. In the other hand, students like to stay outside in sun rather than classroom. Learning process will be hampered in outside the classroom. We believe that warm clothes will help them to run regular classes and get better result.
Annapurna region is full of mountains and high hills. Because of cold geographical weather, tempereture is slightly going down in winter. So, warm clothes could be beneficial for students. Sweaters are designed by Women Skill Development Organization, Pokhara. All together 27 boys and 23 girls got warm sweaters and caps.
We like to huge “Thank You” to our donors who kindly support this campaign. Our team members, social media and collaborative organizations are highly appreciated. We also present our gratitude to school management committee, teachers and students.
We are continually looking forward to more support ahead.
Thank You
